Everyday Stress Turned Adrenal Fatigue

Adrenal fatigue is a very common issue among busy people who try to multi-task through their everyday living. If you are not yet familiar with the term adrenal fatigue, it is simply a form of long term stress in which the body is not able to cope with certain stressors. You might ask, "Who are at the greatest risk of developing this condition?" Before I answer that question, let me just clarify that adrenal fatigue is only a group of symptoms or a syndrome and it is not yet a known or accepted medical diagnosis.

As I have mentioned, it is most often the busy people who multi-task that develop adrenal fatigue. I will elaborate this by giving out some situations experienced by different types of persons. To name a few are:

Mothers - Most mothers have jobs and some are stay-at-home, nevertheless the level of stress they experience is generally the same and often times leads to adrenal fatigue if they are not able to cope with everyday stressors like balancing work and house chores, taking care of the kids, thinking about the numerous bills to pay, so on and so forth. As you can see, the more you multi-task the greater your chance of developing adrenal fatigue especially when you don't practice effective coping mechanisms.

Students - You might not agree with me but I believe that students are one of the world's busiest persons and great portions of this group are the victims of adrenal fatigue. Why? Because they juggle around five to seven subjects a day, most of which all have daily pop quizzes, exams, homework, and the like. Aside from school work, students have extracurricular activities at school like their individual clubs and organizations and to our surprise some even manage to attend their part time jobs. No wonder these students are very tired when they get home and most even skip dinner just to get some sleep, by the time they wake up they still feel very tired but their daily routine must go on. See, that's adrenal fatigue!

These are actually only a few groups that I have mentioned but the effects of burn-out or adrenal fatigue is greatly affecting the daily performance of each individual. Without energy, some people might not excel at work and most students may fail at school. That's why people should be aware of what adrenal fatigue is so that they can still recover from it and find ways on how to finally prevent having adrenal fatigue in the future.
